1953 : Born on 18th April at Saitual to J.Pazawna and Hrangkhami Hnamte. 1962-65 : Attended school at Graham’s Home, Kalimpong. His general academic interest were literature and graphic arts. He also had an instinctive love for music. 1967-70 : completed matriculation in Shillong. Went to Ahmednagar College to do P.D.Sc. 1969 : Wrote his first song in Mizo. 1970 : Won first prize in the Shillong College Poetry Contest, 1970-71 Academic Session. 1972 : He formed a rock band (Young Generation) with few friends and they were skyrocketted into the peak of fame in no time. 1988 : Married Ngurthankhumi on 8th October, 1991. His second marriage was a great help. 1990 : Daughter Christine born. 1991 : He became born again. Turned into a Gospel Singer & Preacher, worked with Harvest Ministry & Servants of God Evagelical Team. Hospitalised 6 times. 1992 : His debut album “Salvation to Everyone” was released. 1993 : Daughter Angela born. 1994 : Promoted to the post of Junior Analyst. 1995 : Made his last performance before public. 1998 (April 27) : Composed his last Mizo song. 1999, 16th August : Died at noon. |

First of all, I welcome and thank all who visits this humble website, I created in memory of my deceased husband Jeremi Zobiaka. At the same time, I request you all to often visit this website which would always be welcomed for you.
In this website, I would include his story, songs and other stuffs he left behind. Songs from his first and last Albums would also be included which is sure to soothe your ears. All events of his life from the day he came to the day he left would be included in detail. An unsent letters due to his dominating illness he wrote to his friend Ramnghingliana (Puia, Speaker and President of ‘Servants of God’ Ministry) who died in 1999 would also be included. The letters he sent while I was away training for a job way back before our marriage would also be maybe displayed……
The reasons and causes of the birth of some of his songs would be included. I kindly request visitors of the website who have known or heard of him to contribute all you know and to express your opinions freely. - Mrs. JB
