Our beloved father and inspiration, it is almost unbelieveable and hard to for us to cope with the fact that the 10th anniversary (16th August) of your death has befallen us. As this day approaches, it is a must for the loved ones you left behind to let you know wherever you may be that you were and will always live in our hearts. They say time heals all wounds but that doesn't seem to be applying with us, we missed you even more as time goes by. If given a chance to see you once more we would love to tell you how much of an empty space you left us. We would let you know jush how much we missed your love and embrace. All these years without you feels weird and incomplete, but we are trying everyday, hard as it may be. All these memories we have of you feels like it was just yesterday, those times we would snuggle up on the couch having a good laugh at the 'Tome and Jerry shows', who would know we, your children would be writing about it 10 years later. Even though we missed you unceasingly, we are glad to know in the core of our hearts that you are now somewhere incomparably better than us. You left us a message through your song telling us not to shed a tear for you and though we respect your wish, that in fact may be the hardest thing to do. Time surely did not help in healing these hearts you wounded. Each day for us is a challenge for surviving and facing the world without you. If we had to write the story of you life, it would probably be the thickest book anyone has ever seen. Wherever you may be daddy, all we want you to know is that life's been hard without you.............
Your loving daughters, Christine & Angela |
